Paper Prototyping Workshop for Gifted Children
August to September 2024
I have worked to design a modular and adaptable paper prototyping workshop for gifted autistic children to learn industry relevant skills in a child-friendly and age appropriate manner to give them the skills to explore game mechanics and core loops. This is in collaboration with Catalyst Games.

Maryatville Primary School Stem Day

I spoke to four times to students at Maryatville Primary School about game design, development, the industry, educational pathways and what different careers in game development look like. I spoke to a range of ages, adapting my talk to what was appropriate to their year level.

Cafe Crawl

20th of July will bring our second Game Dev Cafe Crawl - this time we're shaking things up with networking bingo to encourage attendees to talk to each other in a networking context. Watch out for special deals with participating cafes.
Pride at Game Plus & SAGA - Playback June 2024
June 2024
The South Australian Games Association and Game Plus are partnering to present Playback on Wednesday the 26th of June, 5:30pm.

Playback is a showcase & playtest opportunity for local games. We encourage attendees to bring your own games for testing. At each session we will have short presentations with time for Q&A.

This edition of Playback we invite the game development community to celebrate with us during Pride Month as game designer Emma Losin hosts a panel shining a light on some of our local LGBTQIA+ talent!
Before, after and in-between presentations everyone attending is invited to bring your own hardware, games, prototypes and showreels to share what you're working on with the local game development community. We will have desks and power points available for your equipment. Light catering will provided by AIE.
